How do I attach and send a file?

Pronto provides a fast and easy way to attach and send out any file type using your web app or mobile device to anyone else without needing to send an email.

On mobile devices, you can sync with most major cloud hosting services, including Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, and many more.

Attaching a File using the Web App

  • Step 1. From the Chat panel, click the File Attachment option.

  • Step 2. Navigate to the file you want to attach and select it.

  • Step 3. Click the Open option to attach the file to the message.

  • Step 4. Add any additional text to the message before pressing Enter on the keyboard to send the message.

Attaching a File using a Mobile Device

  • Step 1. From the Chat panel, tap the File Attachment option, and tap the Choose from Files option.

  • Step 2. You will be presented with your device's default file sharing service. If you want to search a different sharing service, tap the Browse option at the top left.

  • Step 3. Once you find the file you want to attach, tap on it to add it to the message.

  • Step 4. Add any additional text to the message, then tap the Send Message option.

Add Additional File Sharing Services using a Mobile Device

You can add additional file-sharing services using the Browse option located in the upper left corner of the default file sharing service screen. From there you can tap the Edit option to display installed sharing services and toggle which will be available.

  • Step 1. From the default sharing service screen, tap the Browse option. To display the Browse panel.

  • Step 2. To add a new service, tap the Edit option located from the More Actions option in the top-right corner of the screen.

  • Step 3. Any app that you have downloaded on your device that includes file-sharing will present itself. Select the service you wish to have displayed as a Location.

  • Step 4. Once you have enabled the service, you can tap on it to search for files that are stored there.
