New: Advanced Search Feature

We are excited to introduce our powerful new search feature in Pronto that makes finding what you need a breeze! Ever had one of those moments where you think, “I know my teacher mentioned the due date, but I can’t remember which group or what the details were?” Or maybe you're just curious about how active a user has been in your group lately? With this update, all that info is just a search away! Now, you can:

1. Search by User: Easily find messages from a specific user by entering their name in the search bar

Or, you can click on their profile photo to open up their profile card and hit "search"

2. Filter by Group: From a drop down menu, you can now narrow down your search to specific groups, ensuring you locate messages within the right context.

3. Narrow down by Time Frame: Taking it a step further, you'll find another drop down menu where you can refine your search results by selecting a specific date range, making it simple to locate messages from a particular period.

This new functionality allows for more precise and efficient searching, helping you quickly find the information you need!

Additional Changes to Direct Message Prioritization

As we seek to make things easier to find and keep track of, our Product team has also added a new viewing option for Direct Messages to reorder your list based on last activity rather than alphabetically. This allows for all users to refocus on things that are most pressing.
