How do I block or unblock a user?

To avoid unwanted interactions, you can block a user within the organization. The user won’t be able to send you any messages, requests, add you to groups, or any direct action toward you. This, however, will not block the user from groups or any interaction outside of direct actions. You can block the user by opening their Profile card and choosing Block.

Block or Unblock a User.

If you have accidentally blocked a user or you just wish to now unblock them, you can open their Profile card and choose Unblock. If you cannot find their profile card you can switch to the Profile Setting screen and use the Blocked User category.

You can block the user by opening their Profile card and choosing Block. This will only block direct interaction. The user will still be able to post in groups and use Pronto as normal.

Block a User:

  • Step 1. Click or tap on their Profile Image. (Located to the left of their message.)

  • Step 2. Click or tap the Block option. (To complete the process and block the user.)

Unblocking a User


There are two ways to unblock a user:

  • Using their Profile Card.

  • From your Profile Settings screen.

You can unblock a user the same way you blocked them, using their Profile Card. Click or tap on their profile card and choose Unblock.

  • Step 1. Click or tap on their Profile Image. (Located to the left of their message.)

  • Step 2. Click or tap the Unblock option. (To complete the process and unblock the user.)

You can also unblock one or multiple users using the Blocked Users category from the Profile Settings screen. If you don’t have anybody blocked the category will not be displayed. It will only appear if at least one user has been blocked. The Blocked Users panel will display all blocked users allowing you to choose unblock.

  • Step 1. Click or tap on your Profile Setting option. (Located to the right of your Profile image on the Drawer panel.)

  • Step 2. Switch to the Blocked Users panel.

  • Step 3. Click or tap the Unblock option. (To complete the process and unblock the user.)

  • Step 4. Repeat step 3 for any other users you wish to unblock.
